Workjuggle conducted specific Irish research to explore this issue and better understand why successful career women in their 30s and 40s are increasingly unhappy and choosing to leave their jobs. Ciara Garvan, the founder of Workjuggle, who specialise in Recruitment, Consultancy and Training, said she was prompted to undertake this research because ‘I was coming across so many talented and successful career women who were frustrated with long hours and negative work atmospheres, I really wanted to delve into this issue and understand it better’. The research provides some insight into why people leave, and what do they value in a working situation that motivates them to stay. It is intended to help Irish based companies to enhance their recruitment and retention strategies, in particular, in relation to gender diversity and inclusion.
