As PSP financial analyst, your role will be to analyse and consolidate the daily Revenue & Cost financial data within the PSP/Cash Management team.
This is a specific role dedicated to the analysis of all PSP & Cash related activity from checkout out to PSP settlement whilst supporting new integrations and optimization of existing relationships.
This is a newly formed team based in their Swords office and is hybrid. This role will report into the Director of PSP Revenue Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembling and summarizing data to structure PSP/Cash Management reporting on financial status
- Monitoring & maintaining auto mapping rules within banking and PSP integrity systems.
- Analyse processes to identify gaps that can improve team performance
- Support the investigation & follow up of all reconciliation items across PSP & bank teams by comparing and correcting data
- PoC for Internal/External Payment Ops, Treasury, Finance / PSP Banks for all technical related queries and discussions
- Technical oversight of daily BAU processes (implementing SoPs inline with new activities)
- Technical oversight of monthly costs ~ chargeback, merchant services costs within the p&l
- Support the completion of month end close activities
- Track and determine PSP financial status by analysing actual results in comparison with forecast/trend.
- Provide monthly KPIs, ad hoc financial reporting, other duties and project work as required.
- Assistance with audit including coordination of information, document management and various auditor queries and analysis.
Key Experience & Skills
- 8+ years demonstrated experience in Financial Analysis
- Ability to manage, motivate and implement new team processes
- Proven proficiency in spreadsheets, databases and financial software applications
- Strong understanding of general ledger accountancy.
- Experience with mapping rules/implementation of auto reconciliation solutions advantageous
- Ability to work with large datasets
- Strategic thinking and organizational skills
