We are recruiting an IT Officer for a client in Dublin 2. They are an Architects Practice and the role is part time (20 hours a week, mornings). A staff of 25 supports Architects across registration, practice, education, policy and research. As part of the IT team, you will have the opportunity to:
– Maintain and update the RIAI website (Expression Engine CMS)
– Support the current membership database (SQL based)
– Be part of the team working on a new membership management system (Dynamics 365)
– Work with cutting edge suppliers
– Provide front line support to staff on technical issues (Microsoft 365, Teams, Domain & Server Management, Poly AV Systems)
– Become familiar with a range of cloud-based IT services in use at the RIAI
– Support compliance with IT Policies and GDPR
The successful candidate will require a broad knowledge of IT Systems, have a qualification in Computer Science or equivalent (degree level preferred) and have some project management / PMO experience. They must possess excellent communication skills (written and oral) and have a proven track record as a team player and relationship builder. The successful candidate should be motivated and strive for excellence in everything they do, have an enquiring mind and prioritise attention to detail.
