We are recruiting a Funds Project Manager for a client who are a global change and transformation consultancy who specialise in Financial Services.. The role is full time and permanent.
They are looking for a talented Funds specialist currently a Funds, Manco or Asset Manager looking to use their skills.
A combination of Project Management, Client Management and commercial acumen with Funds Operational expertise.
You will be a technology focused Project Manager capable of delivering solutions across multiple different fund structures.
Experience within the Global Asset management Industry.
Experience within investment funds, regulatory, change or compliance within the Funds Industry.
Role
You would be working on a variety of engagements likely to include design, development, Operational outsourcing, offshoring, Product/ Service Development, Authorisations and
Regulatory Change.
Manage and lead teams on projects and work with other areas of the consulting business to deliver high quality client services.
You will be responsible to the delivery of IT/ Change/ Data/ Quality Assurance/ Regulatory projects through methodologies such as as Agile, Scrum/ Kanban and traditional waterfall
when required, leveraging your domain knowledge and sector experience.
You will create high quality work products and act as a subject matter expert on one or more services to advise our clients how to achieve their project objectives.
Take responsibility for the mobilisation of delivery projects and dependencies bring them to realisation within agreed timelines.
Help form teams to bring projects from initial scope, providing advice on requirements to final realisation.
Ability to identify and assess risk, to communicate and adapt accordingly.
Project Manager
Creates strong and positive relationships with project team and key project stakeholders.
Works as part of a team demonstrating ability to collaborate and work through complex issues to find suitable solutions.
Ability to engage with various business stakeholders to identify, understand and document detailed business requirements for IT solutions and/or business process change.

Able to identify and articulate possible business solutions to resolve roadblocks.
Thinks outside the box when required to solve new challenges.
Able to clearly articulate complex ideas and requirements in concise language (written and verbal)
Produce procedure and training material.

Ability to prioritise tasks and to meet deadlines.
High degree of competence in project Management and understanding how to drive deliverables with minimum management oversight.
Experience of financial services regulations and regulatory environments and market environments within the Funds Industry.
Experience of the full project lifecycle from initial concept to implementation
Experience of running workshops with key stakeholders to facilitate requirements gathering.
Desired Qualifications
Relevant professional qualification in Capital Funds, Asset Management, Alternative Investments, Financial Instruments in International Investment Funds Services, Sustainable Finance.
