We are recruiting a Senior Training Consultant/Practice Lead for a Learning and Consultancy business. The role is full time permanent and is fully remote.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a skilled leader, and a seasoned consultant with extensive commercial experience and a record of delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities

1. Leadership and Team Management:

§ Provide strong leadership to the training and consulting team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

§ Mentor and develop team members, ensuring continuous growth and skill enhancement.

§ Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and professionalism.

2. Strategic Planning:

§ Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the practice, aligning with the overall business objectives.

§ Identify market trends, opportunities, and potential risks to inform strategic decision-making.

3. Client Relationship Management:

§ Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring the delivery of high-quality training and consulting services.

§ Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and solutions to address their business challenges.

4. Business Development:

§ Drive business development efforts to acquire new clients and expand relationships with existing clients.

§ Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create compelling proposals and presentations.

5. Project Delivery and Quality Assurance:

§ Oversee the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they meet or exceed client expectations.

§ Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to uphold the highest standards of service.

6. Financial Management:

§ Manage the financial performance of the practice, including budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring key performance indicators.

§ Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimisation.

7. Continuous Improvement:

§ Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the practice, leveraging feedback and insights to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.

§ Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

§ Master’s degree preferably in engineering, science, finance or related field; advanced degree or MBA is advantageous

§ Proven experience in a consulting role, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position.

§ Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.

§ Willingness to travel throughout Europe, and to Asia and North America.

§ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

§ Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.

§ Proven track record of successful project delivery and business development.

§ Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.

§ Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and drive financial performance.

§ Possess a keen sense of commercial awareness, demonstrating a deep understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscapes to strategically contribute to our organisation’s growth and success.

§ Have demonstrable knowledge or a passion for developing people.

§ Goal orientated – maintains focus on agreed objectives and deliverables.
