Women Returners

Women Returners have always been at the heart of who we are at WorkJuggle. Our Founder, Ciara Garvan, founded WorkJuggle based on her own experiences of trying to get back into the world of work after taking time out to care for her children. Thankfully things have changed quite a bit since then. Employers have woken up to the fact that women returners are highly skilled and valuable. At WorkJuggle we believe this so much that all our team are women returners.

Here are some programs we run and a link to more resources in the area:

Re-Entry Workshop

If you have taken time out of the workforce, for whatever reason, then this is the morning you need. It is a place to focus on yourself, really think about what you want from going back to work, and pull together some positive strategies to make it happen. Read some of our reviews here.

Note: These have been suspended during the pandemic. However, if you are looking for tips on getting back into the workforce you can re-watch an Instagram Live we did with MyKidsTime.

    Other Resources for Women Returners

We are often asked about where women returners can look for more help. Here are some books which can guide you on your journey:

    1. Lisa Unwin & Deb Khan, She’s Back: Your Guide to Returning to Work. We were thrilled to host the She’s Back Irish Book Launch. You can read more about that here.
    2. Another favorite of ours is The Mother of All Jobs: How to Have Children and a Career and stay Sane (ish)  by Christine Armstrong
    3. Here is a website that is also useful: https://springboardcourses.ie/. Springboard run really great programs which are often free for people returning to work. There is a huge range here so you are bound to find something which piques your interest!
